To activate QuickBooks synchronization, go to parameters, click on QuickBooks Integration (this option is only visible to account administrators) and then Logon to QuickBooks.
Then, log on to your Quickbooks account:
Choose the company you want to connect to (if you only have one, the choice will be simple, but if you have more than one, you can only connect one):
Click on ‘Connect.’
You will then be returned to app.centrix.one where you will need to choose a date for synchronization and the language to use:
The date you will choose will determine the date as of which the data will be synchronized. For example, if you have 10 years of invoices,you may not want to have your entire history in CentrixOne. You could choose to synchronize only from the last year.
Finally, click on START SYNC and voila!
A new contact list is then created for customers, quotes and QuickBooks invoices:
What is synchronized between the two apps:
- The clients in QuickBooks Online are sent as contacts to CentrixOne and vice versa.
- Quotes in QuickBooks Online sent to CentrixOne as 50% opportunities. This is not done in the other direction. CentrixOne does not send opportunities to QuickBooks.
- Invoices in QuickBooks Online are sent to CentrixOne as sales, so 100% opportunities. This is not done in the other direction. CentrixOne does not send sales to QuickBooks Online.
- Types of products in QuickBooks Online are sent to CentrixOne as revenue categories. This does not work the other way around.
